2. Primary Belt Material
Material | Description |

Cotton / Canvas | Any weave of cotton, cotton blends, or heavy-duty canvas used in various applications. |
Neoprene | A synthetic rubber resistant to sun, ozone, and weather. It performs well with oils and chemicals, has a wide temperature range, and resists burning. |
Nitrile | Provides good resistance to petroleum hydrocarbons, fuels, oils, hydraulic fluids, and alcohol. Available in different compound variations for specific applications. |
Polyurethane / Urethane | A diverse class of materials with good elongation, recovery, toughness, flexibility, and abrasion resistance. |
PVC conveyer belts | Widely used material known for its flexibility, smooth surface, and nontoxic qualities. Some grades are suitable for food and chemical processes due to PVC’s inert nature. |
Rubber | Includes natural compounds like gum rubber (polyisoprene) and latex. |
